Dog Groomers Prestatyn, Meliden, Dyserth

Bowwow’s Dog Company was established in 2014 by Melanie Cawthray, who started off by offering a bespoke dog walking service in Prestatyn and the surrounding villages in North Wales.

Dogs are either walked individually or in groups, and can be walked on or off the lead, provided consent is given prior, in the local dog-friendly areas of which there are many varied and beautiful walks. Dogs are walked in the hills of Prestatyn, the beach, Morfa Park and also along Rhuddlan’s river and stunning nature reserve.

In 2017, Melanie retrained to add grooming to the list of services and now offers a one-to-one grooming service.

At Bowwow’s we pride ourselves on providing an holistic, positive experience and safe environment in order to help dogs feel as relaxed and confident as possible. We use Hownd products which are all natural, cruelty free ethical products. All of our products are free from harsh chemicals such as alcohol, parabens, soap and dyes. The range is designed for dogs from puppies to golden oldies.

Our business has expanded in the last year and Bowwow’s Dog Company has have taken on an extra part time staff member. Carole joined us in June 2017 after deciding to take a career change and the company are going from strength to strength.

As well as dog grooming and walking services we also offer dog-friendly birthday cakes or birthday cookies using only organic products.
